Terriers lineup takes a hit as injuries and illness deplete lineup

STAFF — The Portage Terriers dressing room has been hit with the flu bug once again and sniper Tyler Moore will be out for the next week or so as he has fallen ill. Youngster Kajon McKay is also under the weather and will miss tonight's contest on the road against the Steinbach Pistons.

The Terriers were without the services of veteran forward Phil Letkeman over the weekend against the OCN Blizzard, but Letkeman is expected to dress tonight for the match.

Portage's own Tanner Waldvogel was also hurt over the weekend in the first contest and did not play Saturday evening, but is expected to play tonight.

Blueliner Cam Canart is still out with his upper body injury and will not play this evening.

Terriers captain Cory More aggrivated his lower body injury in practice last week. More was slated to play over the weekend, but has since been re-evaluated and will remain on the injured list until next month.

The Terriers are on the road again Friday evening as they take on the Swan Valley Stampeders and the following night in Dauphin.

After a lengthy road stand, the Dogs will be back at Centennial Arena on Dec. 3 as the Winnipeg Saints come to visit. The Terriers have not played at home since Nov. 8 when Neepawa was in town.
