Trip to Casino, but no big wiin

July is always a busy birthday month and so birthday Greetings are extended to Lynda Dobbin-Turner who will join a special club on July 24.
Happy birthday to Lillian Gilbert who celebrates on July 27 and Geri MacDonald, also on July 27.
Anniversary greetings to Heather and Mark Foidart, who will be celebrating No. 3 on July 21. Have a great day.
Merle Hodge and Joan Suderman enjoyed a bus tour to the Shooting Star Casino.
No huge wins were reported! Next time, ladies.
A large bridal shower was held at the MacGregor Memorial Hall in honour of Kelly Burch (bride elect of Regan Eyford) on July 8.
All honoured guests were escorted to their seats including Kelly’s grandma Jean Burch. Tanya Burch (sister to Kelly) introduced the honoured guests followed by fun activities, a delicious lunch and beautiful gifts.
Thank-you’s were given by Kelly, Judy, Mrs. Eyford and
Jean Burch.
Lynda Dobbin-Turner and Dixie Tomchuk had the pleasure of motoring to the Lake of the Woods where they spent a night with Mark and Faye McGregor at their beautiful new cottage near Kenora.
Lynda performed a house concert for Mark’s guests from Germany and the Czech Republic.
A wonderful evening was enjoyed by all.
Richard Manns and Janelle Tomchuk enjoyed several days fishing with friends at Eagle Lake, Ont.
Joe and Freda Tomchuk attended the Van Achte reunion at St. Pierre Joey’s, MB on Saturday, July 10.
Don’t forget about the Rossendale Consolidated School Reunion on Saturday.
Registration from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Activities, reminiscing, a catered meal and a bonfire will follow at the Rossendale Community Centre.
